Ingredients

1 liter Tsipouro without anise

2 bunches mint

1 kg of sugar

1 whole nutmeg

½ fresh lemon juice

How to prepare

MONH-EIKOSIFINISSAS-258In a large vase put all the ingredients together and leave them, shaking slightly in a shady and cool place, until all the sugar melts and gets a neat color.

When it is ready we taste it and if necessary we add sugar or tsipouro depending if we want to make our liqueur to be strong or not.

If we want for our liqueur to be strong we add tsipouro, and if we want it to be softer, we add sugar.

Allow a few days and when we taste it and we like the result, we put the liqueur in glass bottles after we have “passed” it through a cheesecloth.
