1 packet filo pastry for sweets

1 block of butter (melted)

3 cups sugar

3 cups water

One vanilla and juice of half a lemon

 

How to prepare:

We start by taking a sheet (filo) that we brush with melted butter. Then we place another one on top and we brush it with melted butter too.

14914892_379778095686662_1843871843_n-copyArrange the rolls in the fridge to freeze the butter a little in order to cut them more easily (Approx. 15 min)

Prepare the syrup by adding sugar, water and vanilla and bring to a boil. From the moment it stars to make bubbles, boil the syrup for 10 minutes (the syrup must be cold and the kourkoumpinia hot when pouring the syrup.)

14962962_379778272353311_2071531518_n-copyCut the rolls into small pieces (see picture) and place in a baking pan with greaseproof paper.

Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until they have a golden brown color.
