EPP is celebrating the International Women’s Day with a photo exhibition dedicated to the women who inspire us daily through their work.
So for my part, I suggested including a woman who is a role model and inspiration for us all, Natasa Bega.
Natasa Bega was one of the first women elected to the Ioannina municipal council, she continued to serve the public good as the President of the Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Children (ELEPAP) in Ioannina for 30 years. Her vision, perseverance and effectiveness has been instrumental in keeping ELEPAP functioning and in the creation of the Center for Assisted Living in Ioannina.
Natasa is an optimist, a fighter and a gentle soul. She has shown that dreaming is strength and not a weakness. Today, I am proud to honor Natasa who opened ways full of hope and smile for all of us.
