Με καταδίκη για την πρόσφατη ενέργεια της Τουρκίας για την Αγία Σοφία ξεκίνησε ο κυβερνητικός εκπρόσωπος Στέλιος Πέτσας την ενημέρωση των πολιτικών συντακτών. Όπως είπε «συνιστά πρόκληση όχι μόνο για τους Έλληνες και τους απανταχού χριστιανούς αλλά και για ολόκληρο τον δυτικό και πολιτισμένο κόσμο».
