Clashes between riot police and protesting citizens on Lesvos island
Δυνάμεις των ΜΑΤ επιχείρησαν να διασπάσουν το πλήθος που διαμαρτύρεται για την επίταξη και τη νέα κλειστή δομή που επιχειρεί να φτιάξει η Κυβέρνηση στη Λέσβο. Μάλιστα δημιουργήθηκαν μικρές εστίες φωτιάς μέσα στο δάσος.
Clashes erupted on the island of Lesvos on Tuesday afternoon between riot police and residents of the Kalloni region who have gathered at Diavolorema, the second entrance to the requisitioned area of Kavaklis. Riot police made use of stun grenades and chemicals against people that gathered to protest against the requisitioning of the land for the construction of a new closed and controlled facility for refugees and migrants on Lesvos. Small fires broke out during the offensive using chemicals, which were put out quickly. source:”TO NISI”
