The Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis with his staff officers, visited the facilities of INTRACOM DEFENSE in Koropi, accompanied by the General Director of the General Directorate of Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), as well as the Director of the 6th Branch of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, responsible for Innovation and Defense Technology.
The Chairman of the BoD and Chief Executive Officer of IDE, Mr. George Troullinos, and senior executives of the company welcomed the visitors and presented the company’s activities in the development and production of domestic technology’s defense products, in the fields of communications, hybrid power supply systems, unmanned air vehicles, as well as air defense systems.
It is worth noting that IDE, due to its participation in the implementation of a series of European and NATO programs, constitutes a strong technological and industrial base for the development of the country’s defense infrastructure, contributing to the modernization, maintenance and support of the existing defense systems, as well as to the production of new ones that meet the needs of the Greek Armed Forces, while strengthening the national economy.
