«Από την πρώτη στιγμή της πανδημίας, ο πρωθυπουργός σε συνεργασία με άλλους 8 ηγέτες της ΕΕ ανέλαβε πρωτοβουλία με στόχο την αντιμετώπιση των κοινών προβλημάτων και κυρίως την ανάπτυξη νέων χρηματοδοτικών εργαλείων για τη στήριξη των οικονομιών και της απασχόλησης στα κράτη μέλη της Ένωσης» τόνισε ο υφυπουργός παρά των πρωθυπουργώ και κυβερνητικός εκπρόσωπος Στέλιος Πέτσας, κατά την ενημέρωση των πολιτικών συντακτών. «Υποστηρίζει ότι η Ευρώπη δεν πρέπει να κάνει για άλλη μια φορά πολύ λίγα, πολύ αργά» πρόσθεσε.
